Scene: 22nd May 1997; Charlotte's house; Charlotte cooking sausage & mash.
Tom enters stage left: [presents Charlotte
with a yellow rose from his grandma's garden]
Charlotte: [accepts rose, sniffs, and swoons]
This is why Charlotte carried 6 yellow roses in her wedding bouquet:
one for each year of togetherness.
Lots of other things happened that evening but the only thing
fit for mention is that we attended a showing of Romeo &
Juliet at the local Cinema.
